I'm so fed up of people at the moment.

Particularly people who moan if they have a bit of ear ache or a cold or whatever but actually don't have anything really wrong with them.

Plus my Parents are doing my head in at the moment but thats a long story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Pink

    That's not too bad a moan :) If we can't moan on here where can we moan?

    l do know what you mean when people are moaning about a pulled muscle or a cold and you are thinking 'try having this for a while' :roll:

    and parents are meant to be annoying l think :? l think it's in their job description :wink:

    I try to take a deep breath in and be patient with them if l can be and if not....try and keep out of their way for a bit?

    Love

    :lol::lol::lol:

    Your post made me laugh, I get fed up of people at times as well. Especially people who expect me on crutches or with a walker to move out of THEIR way :shock: :x

    Take some time out, console yourself with the thought that they wouldn't be able to cope with what we have. I have a 'friend' who is dismissive of my illness, but bitterly complains when she has a cold!!!! :roll:

    Rant away on here, we understand.

    Thanks for being understanding. I've been in hospital twice and said person (with cold!!) didn't once ask why I hadn't I been at church for a while. She does my head in and then she wonders hwy I go out of my way to ignore her!!! Please everyone shout at their laptops for her to get a grip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    My parents are checking everything I do - I'm 35 not 16!!!

    That's what parents do and it never stops, they think it's their job. The trouble is they remember you as a small, helpless baby and continue to see you that way. As for the church friend, well it sounds about par for the course. Colds can make one feel very lousy and a little sympathy is usually the best way to oil the social wheels. I agree that it is difficult for us to understand the apparently simple health things that irk those with better health but we have to remember that they see and feel things from a very different perspective, lucky devils! :) I hope your irritation levels drop soon, they won't be helping you. Hi Pink,
    I think we can all identify with the way you're feeling, even the best of us can get exasperated with the way some people can be quite self absorbed.
    In fact earlier today while hubby and i were out getting a birthday card for my youngest, we popped to a large department store that ridiculously has only 1 tiny lift, I'm in a wheelchair and can't walk up the 2 flights of steps it would have taken to go up to the next level, while waiting for the lift a couple of ladies were waiting too, hubby and I just managed to fit in and there was no room for anyone else, one of the 'ladies' said loudly and pointed to me in my chair "people like that shouldn't be allowed to take up all the space" I was mortified and quite shocked, but then my hubby answered her loudly "well, look at it this way, my wife can't walk or use the stairs, you 2 however can, and while you're doing that think of all the weight you'll lose, so really we're helping you" the doors closed then and I couldn't stop laughing :lol:

    Thank you pink for saying about people moaning!! People look at me when my OH puts me in my wheelchair as if I'm a fraud! And especially the old say out loud 'why are you in a wheelchair?' and when I tell them why they reply with 'your to young to have that!!' Then my OH will tell them there wrong and will tell them about medical fact.
    As for family! Your lucky to see yours!! I see my mom maybe twice a year!! Birthdays and Christmases! Because he is engaged to a multi-millionaire and spends her free time with him! And as for the 'D' word my flesh and blood one I have been estranged from him for 3 years now. We don't talk and after the words he said to me I never want to speak to him again! So when it comes to parents if you have a good relationship you make sure enjoy them and spend time with them because with one day and 1 arguement you could end up with parents like mine!
