I've just sat here and watched my hands swell up because of this awful weather. Every time it's cold and wet arther flares up. Going to go and get warm in bed before my feet join the party and I can't get up the stairs.

I hear it's pretty bad down there in England at the moment, it's one of the few times the weather is better here in Scotland. I believe it's even nicer in Stornoway, up north ... Lol! I hope the bad weather doesn't last too long.
Good luck

I hate this weather too. I'm stuck in the house for days after the snow is gone and the ice has arrived.
Poor hands. Does ice help, or heat? Hope this flare (and the weather) doesn't persist.0 -
Heat helps and cold makes it worse. My feet joined the flare up party and now I have to crawl around on my knees. Going downstairs on my bum is not fun as my stairs are on a steep angle and not very wide.Flossy0

I also hate this weather ; I haven't been out for over a week as the cold seems to get right into my joints . The snow is beautiful , but enough is enough ! Jillyb0

Snow and ice almost gone now here. Hope we don't get anymore before Thursday as I have appointments all over derby in the next few days. My feet are now behaving but my hands are still swollen and stiff.Flossy0

This freezing weather is playing havoc with this flare up! My right ankle has decided to join in giving me pain! That has now swelled like the other joints! I can hardly move now! And I swear my downstairs loo has iced on the water cause when I went for a wee I did'nt hear it hit hit water and just heard a crack when it thawed the ice!!!0

My hands are now finally behaving themselves.
I don't get that many flare ups but when I do I'm in absolute agony.
Roll on spring and milder weather.Flossy0 -
I am on early shifts at work this week, my hubby is fantastic he gets up and goes and defrosts my car for me which is so helpful as when my hands get cold they hurt as most of you will know, firstly my fingers go white, then a bluey purple colour and throb like mad then they eventually turn back to normal. Also my ankles have started with a throbbing ache.
I have such a thoughtful hubby (love him lots)
Love n hugs
