Hiya,
I wonder if this has happened to anyone else with arthritis in their feet?
I have OA in my big toe in my left foot. I was walking downstairs last night when something cracked in my left foot, over the arch. It felt like something had popped out of place and was sticking up. I was so busy trying to get down the last few stairs that I never bent down to feel the area (couldn't have anyway ) but it was really painful. When I got to the bottom and placed my foot on the floor, whatever it was went back in. My foot is still painful, a dull ache.
Any ideas?

Hello Magenta
Sounds like what happens to me. I have a bunion on my left foot and often I get the same sort of problem in the arch of my left foot - feels, as you describe, as if something has got "stuck" and whilst it is very painful at the time, whatever it is usually clicks (painfully) back into place after a few minutes after whiich it is fine again until the next time. My Mum, who has OA in her feet has the same problem too so I guess it's par for the course. Feet are complicated, bones wise, and my theory is that if you are not walking on them "properly" because something hurts, then it makes sense that it can affect other bits of the feet too.
Having said all that, if it continues to hurt and you are worried about it, you could always get it checked out at the doc.
Hope it eases soon.

Hiya,
Thanks everyone. My foot feels odd but I'll hopefully get some answers on Thursday when I see a podiatrist.
Thanks,
