I need to know where I stand with the DDA regarding my employer and the possiblity that he may now not give me a good reference despite me being an excellent employee....
I know CAB but wondered if anyone else had any ideas xx

Not sure about DDA but if they give a reference which you believe is misleading or gives a bad impression to a prespective employer you can sue them.Flossy0

Thanks guys, will think about contacting ACAS.
He basically said that because I am going for jobs that use different skills than the one I was doing he couldn't comment on a lot of reference requests and that he would have to make comment on my 'sensitivities towards others comments' but that's ok as I have plenty of people who appreciate that I am a good employee (I have had more than one job)and will give me a good reference :-)0
