Yeah good one, why do the news stations go OTT when we have a bit of snow, down south it was next to nothing but you'd have thought the end of the world was coming, problem is with snow driving is all the idiots who can't drive in it, some people don't change their mindset and carry on like normal while the other side panic and do feck all or worse drive to slow when speed is needed and they then get stuck, last time I was out in heavy snow I had a guy in front just stop for no reason and block the road so I couldn't get past him although the roads was clear my side and we were on a brow of a slight rise and the guy in an escort was so close I couldn't see his fecking head lights, God knows what he was up to but I ended up taking 45 minutes to do a journey that I can normally do in 20, I stuck to the back roads after that and it was great, just don't drive in the compressed snow tracks if you want grip, drive slightly off in the fluffy stuff and you'll be fine.
