Well matey, all I can offer is an ear.. Wish I could do more..
You know that there are many folks on here who think a lot about ya.. We do care.. Obviously in a really really blokey way in my case.. Lol

Any idea how long you're gonna have to put up with the mess at home? Does your insurance cover hotel etc?

Keep on posting rkid. Might take your mind off things, even if it's only for a short while..

Best wishes matey, really sorry that you're suffering so much.

Ah Del you're in a horrible place at the moment. One of those things on their own is bad enough but to have this happening all at the same time is beyond words. :(:(

(I always open crisps and other packets with scissors as my hands are always cr@p.)

I hope you get your meds sorted soon, followed by your home.

SWMBO obviously knows you too well and can see under the brave face, maybe she's doing the same as you so you're propping each other up. You obviously need to comfort each other atm.

Sorry, I wish things were better for you both.

    Luv,
    Love, Legs x

Del i do feel for you..
You have all this going on with your house as well as having to deal with this blasted disease and thats putting it lightly..

Wish we could all group together to help you, i know there would be a big group of us hobbling along sticks in hands ready to muck in..

The only advice i can offer Del is to let it out on here if things get too much, you know we will always listen..

    Thinking of you... ((()))

    Hi Del

sorry to read you are having a terrible time at the moment. Crisps and packaging can be frustrating to open. I always have this trouble too and tend to keep a pair of scissors handy.
I hope you soon start to feel better
Sending a hug and hope it helps (((((((((((())))))))))

Sorry to hear you're having such a rough time of it. I use scissors to open most things nowadays, otherwise I get frustrated and annoyed.
I hope you get everything sorted out soon and meanwhile get the support you need from the lovely folks on here.
    Sending gentle hugs.
    Rita.

c040.gif Oh my poor Del, I'm not sure what I can say: you are indeed being unfairly attacked on too many fronts at the moment and that ain't on, so brace yourself: h025.gif and I'll buy you a pint or three. DD

    Hi Del
new to the forum, sounds like life is a bit too much for you at present, take a breath, hibernate if you need to, even if it can only be for 5 minutes! duvet days are common for me this week- except i have to lay on the sofa because its so damn cold! i did myself a list of simple things i can do (and the family) that makes me smile- watchn a dvd or recorded tv prog of a comedian i enjoy! playing a cd of old music which reminds me of pre-disease days (although it's hard to look back it reminds me how much i have done in life and i'm only early 40's- old already!) i have been blessed with lovely people so hold on to that- am sure you are precious take care of you!! :)

    Hi Del,
I am not surprised that you are feeling so down, what a mess with the meds and then the disaster at home which is heart breaking. Our ceiling came down in the bedroom last year and I found it very upsetting so lord knows how you and SWMBO are feeling.
I hope your rheumy appointment is due soon and until then try and go into one day at a time mode.
