Our lovely Poppy has had her knuckles on one hand injected - - and is feeling a little sad, which, let's face it, is hardly surprising. I asked if she would like a hug thread and one of her sons (bless him) replied yes, so here it is.
Poppy, my lovely, I hope that the jab helps and that things will be feeling a deal easier sooner rather than later. Rest the hand as much as you can, for as long as you can, so that the steroid (I'm guessing that's what was done) can give its best results. Brace yourself: (((()))) and a smidge of love. DD

Hi Poppy, i hope you are not in too much pain!!! I thought id mention that i had hand therapy and although it didn't really help that much, they gave me a wax hand bath and it was soooo lovely and temporarily helped with my hand pain. I was thinking about buying one myself, it is about £40, which is why i haven't bought it yet, but you get the wax with it and you can use the wax over and over again!! I just thought id mention it in case you thought it was something that might help you too.
Here is a link to one!

I hope you feel better soon. It can't have been an easy thing having injections into the knuckle area. Poor you.

Poppy.
Hope that the pain of actually having the injections is now a memory in the past for you. Also that the jabs help you long term.
Chocolate is my recommendation. Can either "washed down" with wine, tea, coffee - whatever's your choice.
Take care,

Hi Poppy, so sorry to hear this. Only just seen the thread, I hope you are resting the hand to give the jab chance to work. I hope the jab itself wasn't too painful and that it helps. Knuckle pain is the pits.
