still looking

I'm still looking for something to dull my pain. Can't take any anti inflammatory tablets as they upset my stomach, can't take co cod as it gives me a headache. Tried tramadol and the headache was horrendous. I've sorted out the sleep problems now I just need to get on top of the pain.
I take sulfa for my IA and it does seem to keep the flare ups under control. I'm beginning to wonder if my gp was right when he said I had something other than IA.
I have an appointment at docs on Thursday so I will see what she says.

Hello flossy,
I'm sorry to hear you're in a lot of pain. Have you thought of butrans patches? Maybe that will help you as the painkiller goes in through your skin so it won't upset your stomach.
Good luck,0 -
My doc won't prescribe anything that contains opioids for me as I have had bad reactions to them before. Also I have sensitive skin which reacts to patches & plasters and breaks out in a severe rash.
I can't even used the anti inflammatory creams for the same reason. Think I'm just going to have to put up with the pain and stop moaning.Flossy0
