Hi all,
The time comes for me to have another surgery... This is my 4th one. I am quite scared this time as my last op was horrible and I suffered so much. I also started having those fears about not waking up from it, which is really horrible and is not helping much. I'm very scared of the pain, the nausea, the inability to move from the bed, the boredom and the mess in my kitchen! (No one can keep it as clean as me :) ) Luckily my husband took 2 weeks off to take care of me. It will mean a lot to me if you think of me on Wednesday and send some courage and a few good words my way. I will be probably staying the night in the hospital, so not looking forward to snoring people and nurses keeping lights on till midnight and waking me up at 5am :(
Thank you all for your support.

    Aww nesia
I really do understand your fears, and you have been there and done it, but I do think that most of us have these sought of fears, especially the one were you are stuck in your bed.
So you are not alone, and we will all be in your pocket, and dont worry we can be very good if bribed.. :)
You take care I will be thinking about you xx
    Love

    Hi Nesia
I'll be there for pocket duties.
I know what you mean about snoring people in the ward
I was lucky with my THR.....only 3 days but had a room to myself.
Previous to that I smashed my ankle and was in for a fortnight...the snoring was dreadful :D eventually got through it......I'll be there on Wed

    Love

    Hiya,

I'll be there too! When I've been in hospital, I ALWAYS end up in a room where there is a snorer-who sleeps all day and night! My last stay was at Christmas and there was a singing and dancing santa toy:shock:

    I take earplugs with me,
    You'll be fine,
