Well, another flare up....

Once again I'm flaring up, I blame the stress on this one... :x bloody ATOS

My joints are full of that sickly acid feeling and comfort is something that eludes me no matter what I try.... Everything from my fingers to elbows hurts, knees are miserable as sin too... Grr....
Been trying desperately to pretend its not happening again but failing miserably...
Keep trying to keep my mind off it, my Daughter has even brought her ip@d over for me to play with... Spent most of the time on AC, lol.. It's soooo much easier to type on this than on my mobile, which in turn is easier for me than the computer....
I did ask Janet to buy me one, she just laughed.... I'll take that as a no, haha...

So my friends, I'm hoping that you will help me through yet another miserable time, rather down right now but pretending I'm not, don't think I'm convincing anyone. Certainly not myself, lol..

Its a pain in the **** to put it lightly and very frustrating, the added stress of bloody ATOS decision dont help..

It is hard work trying to keep minds occupied when one is cursing and crying inside cause of the pain.. I tend to play alot of scrabble and physics games to occupy my brain,some reading too, i also find having a talk about general **** can help, but then other days i dont want to talk i just want to keep myself to myself lol..Music is a good occupier and mood lifting .. i am just rambling here lol, but just saying some of the things i do to try and occupy myself..lol

I hope things ease soon for you and you know AC are here supporting you..

Hi tony...thanks for your welcome earlyer...im sorry to hear your in so much discomfort...i read with dismay your earlyer thread about ATOS...im sure your present flare will be due to the stress...they have alot to answer for...

What is ATOS?

So sorry to hear it is all getting you down. It is so difficult to concentrate on anything else when you are feeling in so much pain, but anything you can do to distract yourself, must help. Getting into a good book and losing yourself in the story might help.

Emma, ATOS is the ruthless organization that assesses you to see if you are fit to go back to work. I had to have a home visit as I was that bad I could barely move, apparently that wasn't bad enough and they have said I'm fit enough to work :shock:

Maybe I should have been brown bread....

That's terrible Tony!! Id like them to put up with your pain etc for one day and then come and assess you and see what they say!

Sometimes these people don't have a clue, you wonder what sort of training they get!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks girls... The woman who came here was a GP but that's not always the case. The people who make the final decision, well who knows, but they get paid for results....

When Janet was in sick after losing her Dad, after her sick pay from work dropped she put in a claim for sick pay, they made her go to these back to work interviews, SHE HAD A JOB!! What exactly they thought they could do for her I dont know.... Janet said to her at the interview..
"you're not a heart failure specialist and you're not a psychiatrist, so, what exactly do you think you can do for me?"
The woman said, "we're here to help you get you back to work....."

Utter waste of time and money. Janet asked if they got paid for each person that attended, she refused to answer, wonder why....

Sorry, I'm a tad fed up with it right now.....
They make my blood boil.... Apparently if I don't attend these interviews they will stop my money... Put it this way, if I'm not well enough, I'm not hurting myself to get there.. A friend of mine did... They said, "You must be ok, you got here didn't you?"

I hope they all suffer from venereal diseases...... Painful ones where bits drop off........

I'm about to reach for the old friend diazepam... Try to sleep more. Will try not to snore but can't promise anything..

DIAL have just been in touch, going to help me appeal against the decision.. As it happens it's the same lady that helped me with my tribunal many years ago.
She said that the very fact that I had to have a home visit should have told them something..

Grrrrr... This pain is horrid.. Like I don't suffer enough day up day it had to get much much worse...

Just thought I would update things..
Still in terrible pain, my lower spine is extremely painful and causing pain down both legs, knees are ridiculously painful.. Hands, wrists etc playing up but them I can core with right now. Just hurts to type etc.
Have hardly left my bed past few days but am going to try my best to get up and take Janet to work this morning.. We shall see..
Been awake hours but have just been laid here trying to convince myself I could sleep, lol. Failed miserably.

Well, maybe that wasn't the best of ideas... Managed to get up, walk from the door to the car parked outside the house using the hand rails and drive an entire 13.6 miles to take Janet to work and get home, boy is it telling.. I mean, it's a bit ridiculous when that is too much eh? So bloody fed up with this pain now :x

Tony, maybe you should get the people from ATOS to read some of your posts on here and then maybe they would realise your daily/nightly struggle!!! Makes me so cross on your behalf :x

Ive not been too bad the last couple of days, the weather has been a bit milder here and its amazing what a difference it makes to how i feel!!
