aw that was lovely

This morning as I came into the comp room to come on the forum, I noticed something behind the laptop screen.(always leave laptop open)
When I investigated further there was a paint your own bird house behind.
:D
My lovely husband had bought it as a little surprise for me to do as he knows i like to paint(normally watercolours),he bought it from morrisons while he was doing the shopping last night.
He also brought me a potted plant which was lovely too with the idea I may want to paint that. (on paper :lol: )
Just thought I would share my delight with you all and now look on google to get ideas of what to paint on the little house.

    Aw Julie, that's lovely. I don't know what it did for your day but it's definitely brightened mine. We are lucky with our menfolk (but don't tell Mr SW I said that).

    By the way, if you do pass on that hug from DD, bearing in mind her current state of health you'd better disinfect him afterwards.
    If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    :D thanks folks :D you are right and he is a sweetie.
    just painted the base colour all around it, now waiting for it to dry so that i can do my art work on it.

    Just hope they use it.....where is the best position for one?
    does it need to be south facing?

    Thanks Pink....I did enjoy painting it , it is finished now and looks quite pretty. Just waiting now for OH to put it up.

    Yep south facing but you have to have windows to the west :wink:
