Off to Margate tomorrow at last yipee

Hi all not been around much as had this dreadful tummy bug still all better now workmen all finished last week hotel room booked for tomorrow night so it's all systems go to meet my 3 week old great grandaughter Lillie-rose
and I'm so looking forward to it.

Know Margate,one of my 'stomping'grounds in my youth............. :P and had my ankle replacement surgery there last year...........

Thank you all I had a wonderful time arrived in Margate just before 2pm was met by my grandaughter and baby booked into hotel and then went to my daughters and spent rest of afternoon and early evening there getting back to hotel about 8pm after being escorted there by my lovely grandson then checked out of hotel after breakfast next day and spent from about 11am to about 4pm with daughter and family including grandaughter and baby who is absolutley Gorgoeus (plenty of cuddles were had ) the left there and had a meal with my sister who had come over from Ramsgate before getting on train home I arrived home about 9.45pm tired but happy.Stay positive always👍xx0

Hi Ron was a bit chilly on thursday actually Wednesday was quite warm did you have your op at QEQM hospital. my sister works in patient transport there.Stay positive always👍xx0 -

Glad you had a great time at Margate (aka Margit).
I did have my op at the QEQM hospital,couldn't fault the place.Admittedly the theatre suite and ward had just been built and were modern and spotlessly clean..............
