Very sad to see Davy Jones of the Monkees has died of a heart attack. He was only 66 seemed forever young in my eyes.

    I grew up watching them he was a really nice guy and all, oh well another one of me child hood hero's gone forever, it;s odd isn't it the good die young and total s***s like that g*t Rupert Merdoch just wont lie down and fecking well die, a totally evil souless looking man, now is it me he's looks more like Mr Burns from the Simpsons every day?.
    Sorry I went off on one there, RIP Davy I'll miss him. :cry:

    It is sad...like you say some of grew up with there music....some pulled it to pieces but I loved um...especially Davy....he was lovely when interviewed and always flew a union jack in his garden...even though he did live in Florida.
    Does anyone out there remember him in coronation st...he was Ena sharples grandson...

    Toni my Dad was 65 when he died. Luckily he had taken early retirement so he managed a few years of holidays and trips to the snooker club.
