Just had the doc on the phone with my latest bloods and things seem to be heading in the right direction. Now waiting for my Rhumey to "fit me in" to see if we can get any further with a firm diagnoses.

She has suggested I stop the Arcoxib as that could be causing the hot spells / sweats. She has prescribed something stronger instead but I cannot remember the name.

Also she has the results from tests she did for myeloma (just in case, she said) and they are all negative - didn't realise I was so worried - tinternet can be a dangerous place.

Strange thing to say but I feel relieved it is a Rhumey problem.

Thanks for listening,

Mark.

It's good that things seem to be moving in the right direction, Mark.

As for not realising how worried you were until the test came out negative - oh, yes. Been there and done that. The sense of relief is wonderful, isn't it?

As for tinternet - there be dragons!
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
