My GP has prescribed new tables for me called Citalopram has anyone taken these tables and how did you get on with them.

Hi Emily,
Citalopram are anti-depressants. I haven't taken them myself but my sister did. I remember her saying it took a while for them to be fully in her system and for her to start feeling the benefits (about 6 weeks) but once they started to work she said they were fab. She is off them now, her GP slowly reduced the dose and she is still feeling much better.

Hi. I've been on them about eight months now. Have helped me, but I did increase them not too long ago from twenty mgs to forty mgs... They can take a while to start working so patience is a must.

I have had them in the past & they started working after about 2 weeks. Started to feel slowly more positive & less anxious about everything. No side effects either x0
