And it hurts!

My RF is off the scale and I want to moan!

At least I have now been referred for biologics now, having had 2 'gold standards' fail.

I need to visit Val's Cafe, methinks.

Hugs to all... tell me the news... how are you all doing?

Hi Stu. Welcome back. I'm still trying to work out if that pathetic effort constituted a moan  . Come on, you can do better than that.

I'm OK thanks. Nearly scuppered my holiday by landing in hospital a week before we were due to fly out but made it in the nick of time.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

    Hi Stu
Its good to hear from you, only I am sorry you are suffering, now like SW says you have a proper moan, it really does help to get it all out.
    Love

    Hiya!

SW - that was my best attempt, LOL! Yikes RE your holiday - close call but glad to hear you made it; I trust you had a 'goodun'?

Elna - I wish I had the time to catch up with events. I don't think I posted for about 5 months so I guess I'd have an awful lot to catch up on, huh?

Barbara - I've done my bit of moaning for sure and my ickle post was quite a cathartic experience, until the next time

So, MTX jabs are still giving me the side effects - saw my rheumy who basically said that as SFZ lost efficacy and MTX has a unwanted side effect that they can refer me to the specialist nurse to see if I jump through enough hoops for the biologics. Modern technology is a wonderful thing - I took my tablet PC to my appointment, loaded with all my pictures from the last 4 months since my flares kicked off again AND I had flares in my wrists and fingers - really swollen, which is great, in the way that one can say "look, see?!"

We'll see what happens I guess.

I've jumped back on the amitriptyline and arcoxia for the time being - turned down a steroid shot as it did not work last time.

    Hey-ho!! :D

    Hi Stu,

Nice to see you again and glad they are at least going to try and see if your able to try for the biologicals. Sometimes they work really well.

MTX and side effects... had em up to here and beyond....

I hope they get a shift on for you and nope yours wasn't remotely a moan  some of us could give you lessons  Kinda a past master these days  Cris x
