Correct me if I'm wrong but this speaks volumes about the sort of person that you are...
If it speaks volumes, Tody, then it follows that you could give us a sentence or two.
I can. Very briefly, not a snob or a name-dropper and someone who doesn't judge others on their wealth or education. Sounds good to me.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Junkmail of any kind.
Callcentres where the person meant to be helping you has such a strong foreign accent that you can't understand a word. You end up thanking them for their help and pretend the problem's solved, because you're afraid they'll be offended if you ask, "sorry, can you repeat that?" one more time.

You said that you didn't mean this in a bad way,Tody, so I will give you the benefit of the doubt. However, you need to think a little more about what you post, and explain your meaning more clearly.
The sort of person I am is someone who tries very hard to get on with most people (including you)0 -
Thanks Len
Perhaps we should put people who make ambiguous comments, and then don't have the courtesy to either explain or apologise into Room 101 too :roll:0 -
Hi Tody. I actually thought I'd misread this first time. Was really uncalled for. I know that you've stated that you didn't mean anything by it but it would be a nice thing to apologize to Joan. I know from first hand experience that Joan is one of the nicest people you could meet. I don't usually join in any quibbles etc but she is a dear friend of mine and this did irk somewhat..

Neighbours who don't do anything quietly.
Got to agree on the jobcentre as they haven't helped me at all.
People who set fire to wheelie bins thinking that it is fun. This happened to me late last year and it could have killed 4 adults and 2 children when the garage caught fire.Flossy0 -
I have always felt that often Tody tried to be controversial or at least provoke discussion with some of his posts.I think he has unfortunately over stepped himself this time.''Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy''. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)0

Thank you to all those friends who have leapt to my defence Re.Tody's post.
Peace and love to Tody........I'm sure he likes me really0 -
[quote="TodyBTW - Great news guys - you'll never guess who called me - Mind - I will finally go for assessment next week - ironically it happens now when I feel very happy in my life and I have achieved a balance.
But I will go anyway - I cherish the opportunity to put the psychologist to the test.[/quote]
Great news Tod, I would love to be a fly on the wall. I am pleased to hear that you will keep the appointment although everything in the garden is rosy atm. Long may that last for you. I hope that by the time a friend of mine gets an appointment with a psychologist, they are feeling really great too. The appointments have been cancelled three times, in two years.
Glorious weather the past two days

Hmm…
I'd like to put in Room 101:
1. people that judge my life based on no real understanding of arthritis
2. a creepy ex-neighbour, nasty little ****
3. bullying
Great thread!
PhoebePsA (psoriatic arthritis) and other things since 1990. Happy to help when I can :-)0 -
