Hey there everyone,

Was just browsing on the forum and was trying to remember when I first joined - anyway, I looked at the very first post I put on here - gosh I was soooo scared back then   . I went on and read all the lovely replies and supportive messages you all sent to me. I realise that there is no way I would have got through this last year without you all.

It was actually really interesting to read the posts I put on here when first diagnosed and, in a strange way, was also reassuring. I have realised how much better I am now (emotionally, not physically). My posts were all about fears for the future.

Anyway, just wanted to say thank you to you all - you've been great. Without you, I'd still be a blubbering wreck!

Lots of love and hugs
Jan

I think there'd be an awful lot of blubbering wrecks without this forum, resusjan. Count me in as one. I'm so pleased you feel you're more able to deal with stuff now. Hope that continues.

Well, there you are, there was a light at the end of the tunnel (and there always is). For sure it will flicker every now and again, sometimes even go out but rest assured we are always here to re-light it. This forum is a miracle, it certainly changed my life for the better and I am glad that we have been able to help you through the past year. DD

    Hi Jan

You've come to terms with arthur really well :-) YOur positivity really helps others - especially me. Having Arthur is horrible so I do understand why you were so scared back then.

    Hugs
