New Tax Credit rules for 6th April 2012

I don't believe it!
I told you the Govenment were making rules up just for me
I can't get WTC for yr ending 5/4/2012 because for part of the year I was working and it just tips us over the limit to claim.
"Okay" I thought "fair enough but when 6/4/2012 comes along I can let them know that I am only on ESA and then I will be £3 - £4000 under their limits"
I have just looked on the DirectGov site and found that the rules are changing.
Quote -"If your annual income for the current tax year is lower than last year, you may get extra tax credits for the current year. A tax year runs from 6 April one year to 5 April the next.
The lower your income, the more tax credits you can get. But from 6 April 2012, when your income goes down it might not affect your payments until the following year."
Hmm - until the following year - when I will be on State Pension from 5/3/2013. So that means we get nothing -- again
I have to laugh, or I would cry.

Things are certainly up in the air and again its targeting those who actually want to work. We will have our working tax credits stopped because we are just ( just ) over the £26,000 and it will now leave us living on a bread line. We have always worked too. I think they just punish those they know who they can get money off. Those who choose not to work or lie seem to carry on getting away with it.
Why does the government have to target the disabled ? what about those who have never lifted a finger and are fit and able.. make them to do voluntary work or charity work.
I would like to see those who come up with these ideas, live off what they preach. They live in coo coo land. Their offices are probably more value than our property. Their business lunches more then my weekly shopping bill. arrhhhhh0
