I know I haven't posted very recently - I've been having a hard time off the medication but have managed to keep up with my blog Operation Up The Duff ...and I have news! Operation Up The Duff has been a success!!! We are over the moon and I am hoping that I will go into remission asap.
I thought that I'd share this news with you all as I'm sure some of you might remember me.

Of course I remember you, stlucia, and I'm delighted that operation up the duff has proved successful. Another forum baby! How lovely!

Please don't bank on going into remission though. I did with my first (not with No 2) but it's by no means a foregone conclusion. (Hope you do, though!)
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Thanks so much :-) It's very early days so hoping all will be ok. Have to say that pregnancy symptoms on top of a massive long term RA flare up is hard core!!!

    Hi Lucy

I am so pleased for you both. Wonderful news. It may not be a breeze for you but in the end it will be so worth it. Congratulations. You lucky lady. :D

Huge congratulation wishing you a happy and healthy nine months. :D

Hope you dont mind me asking but how long did it take you to fall pregnant? We are wanting to try for another baby in the future (next couple of years) and wanting some positive news that it is possible :D

I have two children already which are both miracles as I was told at 17 id never have kids due to pcos and then when I fell pregnant with my 2nd I was diagnosed with Graves my endo doctor said I was lucky to fall pregnant twice without help with both these conditions.

I know have Behcets and im hoping we can be third time lucky when im well enough to try. Whe my brain fog has eased ill be reading your blog :D

Thanks all so much. Your posts really made me smile!
It's been a tough road without medication but I'm hoping I will be able to keep going.

Is DD around? I'd love to tell her.

    So pleased for you!!!!!!!!!!

It is often hard enough to get pregnant without daft drugs getting in the way so well done you!!! I remember how I felt when I first found out I had conceived after a lot of trying....pure elation (& relief). Mine was before arthritis reared its head but I'm sure our feelings will be similar.

Your life will never be the same again...but in a good way!
