So went to see gp this morning regarding me and codeine, the 15mgs we were trying were not controling the pain and it was almost like going cold turkey ,it was the most horrendous thing i have ever been thru,i have tried in the past diclofenic we just didnt suit each other and tramadol made me go DO_LALLY (gps words)so we have decided to go back to 30mg codeine three times a day and one in the night if i need it.I feel so relieved to have something sorted that i know i must control and not let it get out of hand again.Thank you all for your support, warm thoughts and hugs to you all.(((()))) Mig

Hi Mig, hope the increase in pain meds kick in soon.
When I was on codeine phosphate last year it certainly helped me and I slept much better than I have done for years.

It sounds like a good appointment, mig, and I'm sure you won't let it get out of hand. You've done really well and I hope the increase helps. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Hmmmmmm. On the one hand you know the help is there but on the other you already know what a slippery slope this is. Oh my poor friend, how tough this is. I am so sorry but at least you will be getting some better relief now and that is so important. Take care, I am thinking of you. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this.
