Hi everyone
Thanks for coming with me today...must say you were all very good... :D
They took me down just after 1, and I was awake for 2.30..it was a much better experience than the last one, they put me on a modern ward this time, instead of the long Victorian one.
Everyone was so nice, I had to wait in the corridor for around ten mins, has there was something wrong with a the xray machine...but a nurse sat with me, little things like that really go a long way
A nice cup of tea was waiting when I got back to the ward and a sandwich my god did that taste good.
So now is the waiting game, if the injection works then I have my first THR..cant win really.
Thankyou again for all your kindness it really does help..love to everyone xxxx
Love
Barbara

Oh Barbara, I'm so pleased for you that it was so much better than last time. As you say, little things make big differences.

    Hi barbara
oh I am pleased that yesterday wasn't as bad as you expected and all went well. Resting in a nice modern ward, having a cuppa and a sandwich will have made it all the more pleasant. I hope the injection helps and that today you are not too sore. Rest today too if you can

Barbara, I am so pleased it went well. I hope the injection works for you, I think?? No one wants a THR, but I bet you want to know which is causing what.

Hope you had a nice restful day today.

    Dear Barbara

I am relieved that this appointment/procedure was more pleasant than last time. As you say, now the waiting game. Unfortunately you cannot really win, as you say, but if a THR needs to be done, I am sure all will go well and you will be pleased that you went through with it.

    Thinking of you,

    Love

Hi Barbara, It does make all the difference the small acts of kindness and the feeling of being cared for.
I do hope you are resting now and in a way that it has worked for you.

    Gentle hugs,

I apologise for being so late to this but I am troubled by a blasted flare of some proportion. I am glad to read that it was a better appointment than before and I hope you do find some benefit soon, rest as much as you can to give it all time to work. Take care and I am thinking of you. DD
