hi everyone

Sorry in advance for too much info but im really worried. I had a period in jan then two weeks later had two days of very light bleeding then had a period three weeks later. Now eight days after this last period i have started bleeding again. I thought i had wet myself this morning but it was blood.

Im only 27 so not the menopause etc. I have had polycystic ovaries for ten years but never had bleeding between cycles they were always none existant. I also have thyroid problems but again this never caused bleeding this close together.

Im really worried and wondered if steriod injections can do this as i had one last week?

My grandad died yesterday so i dont want to cause a fuss with family about going to out of hours doctors etc. I feel so lightheaded with it. Luckily i have a doctors appointment next week to check my thyroid levels.

Any advice would be great as i am really worried espec with how heavy it is.

Sorry again for too much info

hi lulu....sorry to hear about your grandad...iv had a few steroid injections over the years and every time they messed my cycle up for a good few months....so i think the answer is yes they can....but its always good to check with your G.P. or who ever gave you the injection ...you could just ring them....

    all the best JAJA

    Hi hun

Thanks for getting back so quickly. Ill def run it past the gp but feel happier knowing its happened to someone else. I was worried something else had gone wrong.

    Hi Lulu :)

I have had a few steroid injections, not just the ones into your 'ahem' rump but also into joints and yes I found that both types definatly messed things up. Not only cycle wise but 'amounts' too.
