Forgive me, muffy, but I can't remember what meds you're on  My gut feeling is, not really. I'm on meth and, like all on DMARDS, have to take these things a bit more seriously than I used to but I usually find they come and go just as they always did, somethimes making my joints kick in too, though.

Just don't neglect it. Drink plenty, take paracetamol or lemsip provided you're not on meds that have paracetamol in them, suck throat sweets (again, check with the pharmacist for clashes with your meds) and, if it's no better by Monday, think about seeing the doc. Hope it's gone by then.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Sticky is right on the button with her advice, take care of yourself and I hope it eases soon. I think you are on a break between meds, yes? If so, don't fret, I am sure all will be well. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

What does your patient leaflet say about sore throats, if anything?

I woke up with a terrible sore throat this morning and it turns out I have a bad case of oral thrush. I'm not suggesting for one minute you have that but it is difficult to make the decision about what is serious or not if you have an underlying condition. I leave it to the medics these days.
