I had a neurologist appointment on Fri, a follow up from 3 months ago when i was referred by my doctor for all me crazy goings on lol.
Good thing was my MRI was clear.
We did discuss my symptoms again, he believes i may have peripheral neuropathy, and wants me to have a nerve conductivity test. Anyone had one of these?
Aso he wants me to have Vitamin B12 injections as he says that may help with pins and needles.
I am too increase gabapentin if and when required and increase my amitriptyline by 10 mg too..
So thats me,, something else that i need to get my head around and that can be controlled by more meds.. Oh the joys...

I've managed to avoid neurologists, Traluvie, but I hope it all goes as well as these things can.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I too have avoided neurologists so all I can say is that I wish you well and I hope the B12 helps. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Thanks ladies..
Hope you are both as well as can be..xxxTracyxx0 -
I have B12 injections every 3 months as I developed pernicious anaemia alongside the RA. It has worked wonders for my pins and needles but, more interestingly, also helps with anxiety and depression symptoms. I've gotta say, since starting them I haven't been as anxious and teary as I was before. Hope it all works out for you

Hi Tracy
Gosh thats a lot to get your head round, I have noticed that at most appointments my meds get raised...gosh knows where it will end.
I do wish you well with it all, and I hope the injections work xxLove

Hi Tracey, sounds like that was a successful appt, you have a diagnosis for your pins & needles, your M.R.I was clear, and certain meds have been increased to ease your pains and help you sleep better at night. And you need to go and have a nerve test and have B12 injections. That sounds like a covered all angles. Hope things are better with you and look forward to read more of your tweets, very enjoyable!!0
