Oh dear, val! That’s not good. Do you think it was the stress of the forthcoming dental appointment that brought on Saturday’s collapse? Stress is certainly no friend of arthritis.
I’m not keen on dental visits these days despite having a lovely, caring lady because I find it very hard – and painful – to keep my mouth open. (Make up your own jokes. ) If she ever needs to do any work she can usually shove a thing in for me to bite on which relaxes my jaw but a simple check-up is pretty damn painful.
My dentists works downstairs but I was told once that, if ever she wasn’t available, the dentist who works upstairs would come down to her room for me.
I hope you can relax now and maybe, like DD, get back to the dizzy heights of ‘moderately grotty’.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I hate dentists. I am sure they are very pleasant people when they are not working but their chosen profession gives me chills up and down my spine. Knowing what you would be facing today probably did cause you some stress which always stokes the arthritis. Poor you - but at least it's done and dusted now. (()) DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Only at the dentists, Tony. Elsewhere, keeping it shut is more of a problem. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
