Finasteride

Does anyone have experience of pain coming on as a consequence of prescribed medication in this case Finasteride. Recently have been getting chest pain on both sides and under the arms but its not clear whether its to do with the drugs or is a simple muscle strain in the chest and pectoral region

    I've never heard of this med but I would read the accompanying leaflet and see if pain is a listed side effect. Joint pain is listed on one or two of my meds and I do wonder how I would be able to tell. :lol: If it is then you have an answer, if it isn't then perhaps you have indeed strained some muscles somewhere. DD

    I think I would go with Delboys suggestions
    NHS direct or your GP....even your pharmacist if you dont want to do either of these things
