It was a reall catch song one of those that got inside your head and you could not get rid of it.
I remember that one well she wrote it for a friend of hers called Pete Seeger he’s the guy who had the hit with it. Malvina was a singer songwriter who became a political activist and this song was a hit at the government describing the new post war housing developments.
Was she the inspiration to Bob Dylan and Joan Bias I wonder.
