appt's arranged to see consultants but arranging transport?

Had hospital appts arranged today by G.P which I'm gratful to her for, One for new Rhummey doctor and one for tummy doctor. The rhummey appt to set up hospital transport is easy very quick. The tummy doctor because my G.P has got me in to see a doctor at the Driotwich spa hospital to get things done quicker arranging hospital transport has been a nightmare!! Called my normal hospital transport number setting the date ect fine 'where you going to?' 'Driotwich spa hospital' 'the Bupa hospital?' 'yes put going NHS' 'sorry can't take you, but call this number'. Did that, got through was going fine arranging everything then...'NHS No. and G.P's postcode' 'sorry haven't got those the G.P just called 15mins ago with appt' So called doctor's back 8mins on hold to get my NHS number and there postcode!! Phoned the hospital transport back eventually got the transport booked. Went to put the appt in to my blackberry and BAM! It's on a Thursday my house cleaning day by my house cleaner and also got booked another appt so had to reschedule other appt and the whole thing has taken just over an hour to sort just for one Out patients appt!!!

Urgh! Don't you just hate that. It's always the way when you have to arrange things, everything comes at once.

At least it's all sorted now.
