46 years later still an idiot

I have been married for 46 years today and loved everyday of it , my dad said it would'nt last 12 months and we should have got married on April 1st as we where fools.
He is now 84 and still says we where idiots, it seems even when you prove someone wrong they cant admit it . You might of guessed that we have never got on but i have enjoyed my day thinking how wrong he is .......lol jillyx

    Good for you Jilly..it just go to show that our parents weren't always right..now my Mother was different every time I think back to what she said...I think she was right all along and wish I had listened... :lol:

    Oh my! How lovely my lovely! I wish you both very well indeed. Mr DD and me are merely 14 years in but I too hope to see our 46th (by which time I will be 84 and he 85. :shock: ) DD

    Thanks for all the lovely messages , i should say we where married at 16 and 17 so we could be together a long time yet, even though with this arther i might be metal mickey . ....jillyx

    congratulations for yesterday jilly and mr jilly, hope you both had a wonderful day. :D

    It was my daughters 1st wedding anniversary yesterday :D
    and it will be our 28th on saturday 7th :D
