Oh joy..its bad enough having arthritis in my knees without it appearing in other places...was hoping the doctor was going to tell me something else...alas it was not to be.

Not having a good spell at the mo either kinda makes it worse, cant help looking on the darkside at the mo..Its hard to stay positive when you cant see any light at the end of the tunnel..

one step forward and three steps back.

I'm afraid this is how it is at times. Just as we get used to one naff joint, something else kicks in too. Ah well, same meds do both but, I agree, it is very disheartening. Try to stay positive and to see what is good about where you are now. The future is rarely as bad as we imagine it when we are at our lowest. And, you always have us to talk to.

That the thing with this blinking arthur...you just get use to one or two joints hurting then the others join in....
Most of us have these dark days, but try not to keep thinking about the pain you have, I know its not easy when you are suffering, I try to distract myself with anything I enjoy doing..sorry it sounds like a lecture, I do hope the darkness lifts for you very soon, and dont forget we are always here to talk to.
Here some gentle hugs for you (((((()))) xx

just needed to air my thoughts..sorry if they seemed a little dark.

not slept properly for awhile now and then this news...just got a little to much.

that and now having to go for another ESA medical.

I was cast into great gloom last April when I discovered that the pain in my knees was not only the PsA but, thanks to the damage that had caused, I had quite severe OA in there too. Since that time it has also set into both ankles. It is demoralising and dispiriting, there's no doubt about that and I empathise. I hope that the pain relief you take dulls the sharper pains sufficiently so that you can enjoy Easter. I wish you well. DD

We all pop over to the dark side from time to time. The trick is to try not to linger there too long. Whenever tempted, just come on here and we'll give you that 'stern talking to'. :P

Dont you dare apologise for having a moan, it really will do you good to talk and get it all out, and I for one don't mind listening...we are all here to support one another.
I hope you feel better very soon. x
