I'm not sure what to suggest but the first thing that sprang to my mind was work as a cashier in a supermarket or any other commercial organisation, or a clerical role in an office. DD

Oh Sue I wish I could help, I honestly think there should be help for these that struggle at work and not on benefit..for gods sake you are saving the government money.
I just hope someone will come along with some suggestions,
You take care and I do hope its all comes together for you.x

    Hi sue

Most firms have website and take online applications, CVs and advertise there jobs there so it is well worth looking at all your local supermarket etc websites, they usually have a bit at the bottom of the page by contact us , jobs or vacancies, about us. my daughter applied this way.

local papers. and calling firms direct. there are agencies which you can do agency work with and some areas they do the same thing as the job centre, its worth looking at your local council site also as they have a wide range of jobs and advertise them there.

google jobs and your area and see what comes up.

good luck with it all i hope you find something that is suitable for you soon.

    Hi Sue
What about trying for a counter position in the Post Office or a bank? They would be sitting down jobs?

Best of luck with your quest
