I don’t think that’s men, pink, just some people.
By nature I’m last minute but the RA has changed all that. Mr SW gets twitchy 10 minutes before we’re due to set off anywhere. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Oh dear Pink! ;-)
dont get me started on men..........!
OH is alomost fanatical about going to the loo before he leaves the house.........i am often found with my coat & shoes on, waitiing the required 10 mins or so it takes for him to "perform" before we leave!
and another thing..........blimmin snoring! as if it's not bad enough that "arthur" is keeping me company at nights........... ;-)

And don't forget we like to f*rt loudly and are very proud when we doWant what you have.0

 Am I going to be in the minority here. I love my man and have done, except for a few very minor blips, for 39 years. He has his faults and I have mine but it all irons out nicely. Sometimes he has to wait for me, sometimes the other way round.
Elna xThe happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.
If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.0 -
Mr DD is always ready at the agreed time, it's me that is faffing about co-ordinating sticks with clothes, packing dullers and BB etc. There is no doubt that men think, act, feel, interpret, work and plan differently to women and I reckon the genders balance each other nicely (if the women allow it, that is ). I can understand your frustrastion though, they can be very annoying creatures at times - and so can we! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Don't get me wrong..........I do love OH (known as Fluffy on account of his beard) but frustrating is the correct expression DD ;-)
Fluffy has his faults and yes, so do I.............we rub along quite nicely until he starts snoring at 3am ;-)

Me and mine are about 50/50 I think. Although it really irks me when we are running late I am sometimes as bad as him as I have to remember the medication, do I want crutches or sticks or the wheelchair, will I have a hot flush and need something lighter to wear etc etc lol

O DEAR.....
My OH has been a complete star over the last 4 months / whilst I've had a spell in hospital then 12 weeks off work recovering....
So guess I should forgive him his f*rts and other little misdimeners... just wish he didn't say PULL MY FINGER before f*rting.....hugs freesia xxx0 -
Nothing like a good trump tehehe.

Mine drives me insane leaving cupboard doors & drawers wide open after he he has got what he wanted. Who would leave a drawer wide open?????!!!!!
He also drives me mad leaving the loo seat up and ''sprinkling'!!!!!!!!
BUT....he is my best friend and we rub along very well in general. We understand each other even though we bicker a lot!
Men make the world a better place as they are so DIFFERENT...it never ceases to amaze me how different they are!0 -
I adore Mr DD, have done since I first clapped eyes on him. Yes, the phurting and barping do get me down occasionally (especially while I am still eating  ) but I can give as good as I get on that front: I just time things more politely! His better qualities far outweigh the lesser and that is what counts (though the lesser are becoming more apparent as he ages). I agree with you, Sugarbuttie, men do add a certain something to life: I misquote someone; 'men do furnish the world'. DD
PS. Pink? I hope you and he meet up today as planned.Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
I know everyone says I'm so lucky to have my OH as he does so much for me, but as they say every diamond has flaws!! He always needs the loo after we've been out for 5mins!, he snores so loud you can here him downstairs, he has to talk at me when I'm on the phone! But after all that, he can be the most loving, caring, generous man in the world! And I love him to bits.0

I love mine. I still find his parping funny. In fact I'm very proud of his ability to parp tunes, (after a good bean based meal, whole verses). I think the most important thing is, he's my best friend.
Numpty0 -
That's it Numpty, My OH is my best friend, we laugh, argue yet if I need someone to listen he's there, he comforts me and incourages me if I need a little push to do something. Your OH is your best friend and that's true about everyone's OH. Mine can't fart a tune!!0

Me n my other half both brrp, n frrrt like goodens at times and both snore too. So its not just men, we should be saying 'partners' lol
have great day Pink, im sure you will,xClare xx0 -
my ex punched through my heart and spat on it, i don't have the highest opinion on men atm, i fear i'll never find love again or if i do meet someone they will just hurt me again, i thought he was it and he has broken me. really horribly as well. my ex has caused me more agony than my RA has, and that's painful0
