i don't feel like a normal 24 year old...i feel so old. i am ridiculously tired all the time
im taking mtx and sulfa, and i just feel so tired since adding mtx. i also had a bad reaction off it after taking it the second week (10mg im on), woke up at 6am with stabbing sensations in my chest.
ive been alright with the not drinking alcohol...i had a couple on thursday, the only good thing that came out of not getting drunk was i was amazed by how much money i saved. and i didnt get a hangover.
the nodule on my hand is constantly painful...aghhhh.

Hiya,
I know how you feel with the tiredness-I'm suffering with a flare at the moment and the constant tiredness is really awful. I'm not on mtx or sulfa, so can't help you there, sorry. I'm sure others will be able to help though.
Take care and try to rest,

Hi Loise,
Oh flowr I so know how you feel. I also had a major reaction to sulfa and have to mtx as well. Been on 25 ml jabs for couple of years and prior to that the tablets and have to take 3 anti-emetics as well as things to dampen down some of the side effects.
It also flattens me for a few days a week. The difference is i am ancient and self employed and its not fair on you for sure.
Maybe a drugs review with the rumo and tell them just how bad its making you would get you on to something else?
Hang in there and please ask them to look at the drug side again. A cyber ((( ))) and a hope Cris x0 -
Hi I'm not on the same meds as you, but have recently suffered a nasty flare up so I know how tired you are, it just takes time and you need to learn to listen to your body. If you feel tired rest cause if you don't you will burn yourself out and feel 10x worse. Hope you feel better soon.0

You're new to the meds, peridotlouise, and they are strong things. They take a while to get into the system and for the body to adjust to them, let alone damping down the worst of the symptoms. I guess your arthritis is having a bite at you, add in the factor of new meds and it's now wonder you feel tired. Just rest as much as you can, pace yourself with what you do and how 'hard and fast' you do it, and then hopefully the worst of the tiredness will ebb away. I wish you well. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
