This is my personal favourite. I love the Spoon Theory as it's a great way to explain how things fluctuate, how quickly it is to run out of steam etc.

But I love this one because it really shows how disability affects people, and that there's not much we can do other than try to live with it as best we can.

I thought this might be of help to some people. It certainly made me feel stronger when getting the 'if you just tried X' and 'you're not really trying hard enough' comments :)

    I think the spoon theory is a good one but this is equally so. Good find Ldyalb.

    I'm glad it's been enjoyed :) I love the mental images it conjurs up. I used to work for a firm who were very unpleasant to me after I came down with Fibro 3 weeks after I started.

    I used to really wish that for just one day I would literally have a Gorilla instead of Fibro. I would have LOVED to unleash it on the office... :P
