hosepipe ban

I am sure this will have been mentioned but here goes anyway!

If you are a Blue badge holder you can still water your garden using a hosepipe during a ban, however you can't use it for other tasks such as cleaning the ccar :-)

    Good job we don't have a hosepipe ban in these parts or MrSW would delegate watering the garden :lol:

    A ban is the quickest way to provoke rain, it's worked like a dream here! The rain we have had, however, is nowhere near enough to replenish the water we need. I don't know if the exemption is applicable under my authority, I'll have to check. DD

    no hose pipe ban here yet..i am in the SW
    that was on the news about blue badge holders..

    I am entitled to a blue badge but do not currently hold one. I contacted Thames Water and explained my situation to them and they told me that as I have the entitlement then I can still use my hosepipe, if anyone complains I just have to show them my blue badge entitlement letter.
