does anyone know what else i can take alongside co-codomol sort of inbetween doses?

Hi,
I think that you can take ibuprofen as it's a different class of drug- but I'm not medical and perhaps it would be a good idea to ring your local pharmacist for advice-or maybe NHS direct-they might be able to offer advice too.

Hi, I think it would be best to ask at the chemist, pharmasists are trained in the use of drugs and knowing what goes and what dosn't. I know what I have taken, but I can't say it was a good thing to do so I won't mention it. Definately not parasetamol, as co-codamol, I think, has the max dose in it. I'd get the professional advice if I were you from your doctor or chemist.

Woodbon's spot on, KatKnapp. You need to ask the professionals - the pharmacist is as good as any as long as he knows all the other meds you're on - but definitely nothing with paracetamol in it.

Thank you all,i was told to take ibuprofen in between,i had run out of amitriptyline so it was my only solution until i could pick them up today,hate this damn pain

yes it should be on to take but always check if not sure it so easy to take meds that crash hope all better soon just put order in for my meds 9 items and i only 51 not good is it wonder what i can stop taking val

I got told of for taking Nurofen plus ......... co/codomol just didnt work Kat They codienesaid it was because I was on Naproxen ..........As Val and the others said always check first I am now on codiene which work very well apart from the constipation good luck Marrianne
