Oh valval, it's horrid when a doc you know and like goes. Is there a list of surgeries in your area with who works there and what their 'specialities' are? My surgery has a website with that kind of information. I think it is very much a matter of 'trial and error' - the best GPs I have ever had were found quite by accident! I wish you luck with your search. DD

I hope you find one you like, Val. It helps when you need to see them regularly. My practice is like DD's in that all the info about who specialises in what is up on their website. Maybe you could ask the practice manager if any have a specific interest in arthritis. Good luck.
