It shouldn't be a problem, I happily miss a dose or two if I am ill (that has always been my hospital's advice). My GPs take at least 48 hours to process a repeat prescription so I put reminder notes on my phone. I hope you get it soon. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

dont panic.
i miss the odd week once or twice a year when i go on holiday so i can have a good drink up without thinking how many ive had.
also you have to stop mtx if your put on anti biotics.
i would suggest a note to your rhumy nurse just so they can put it in your notes for reference.
my gp used to give me 100 at a time but now only give 4 weeks supply so i have a neve ending trip to the gp to get more.
as mtx flashes up a red warning on gp's computers the younger gp's are very carefull about prescribing repeat prescriptions.
you have to have the purple mtx treatment book and a latest blood results and with these it should normally be done within 24 hours but always best to give 48 hours before picking up the prescription.
a pre paid prescription card is a must as it can save a lot of money if you are on more than 2 or 3 drugs. if you need the link ill find it later as at work at the moment.0 -
As the others have said, one dose shouldn't make a difference. I do envy Mr DJ though. I've never been given more than a month's supply. You do get used to ordering in good time though I never quite get used to counting up what I need of which meds before going away.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Our local chemists orders and picks up scrips so I only need to call in there to pick up meds. Could you arrange that? Then they should have them there on time for you.Christine0

They won't do it for DMARDS, applerose. I can get some of my meds that way but, for the DMARDS, I have to go through the surgery so that they can monitor my latest blood results before issuing them.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Ah right. Didn't realise that. I'm not on them yet. Just thinking about it. Learning all the time.Christine0
