Do you take any meds for the hay fever, val? I went through a bad phase of allergic rhinitis and was prescribed a steroid nasal inhaler. I was taking two squirts in each nostril twice a day but I'm now on a low maintainance dose of just one in each at night. Hay fever sounds quite trivial but, given the headaches and on top of all the other rubbish we have to put up with, it can be the final straw. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Have you tried taking honey, some people swear by it that it relieves hayfever symptoms...Worth a go....Im like SW have nasal spray as have autoimmune disease but it isnt helping much and am on the naughty stuff, blocked nose spray..

I'm glad it's a bit better today. It's a horrible feeling and inhaling steam never works for me.
If you do go down the honey route, val, I think it's supposed to be locally produced honey for best results, to protect against local pollens which makes sense. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
