Had a long chat with the physio about my knee and the effect it's having the new hip is great all is well she said they always knew the knee would give me problems after the THR once the muscle and tendons start working properly again I will have pain (nice thought) although I have to rest more and use my crutch more instead of trying to walk without it (as you do) my joints aren't ready yet to have no support. and because I can't sleep at night because of pain make sure I have a rest and doze in the day. So with more exercises to do here goes for the next two weeks untill we meet again Wendy

    Hi Wendy

It is often the case that having one part 'fixed' can cause more problems with the other bad parts.

I really hope the physio can help to get you moving freer and with less pain.

Good luck with the exercises. Muscle waistage is a problem but work does help. It helped the pain in my back for a long time, but I had to give up as my neck started hurting! I'm waiting to go back and get some sensible ajustments.
I'm sure you will be a lot better with time! Love Sue
