My GP is truly amazing !

Those of you who were amazed that my GP actually phoned me after I'd got back rom my first rheumy appmnt on Tuesday, to see how it went-
well, it gets better:
At 20:30 today he phoned me to say he'd got the consultants letter and can now give me the script for the Ampy...(you know the one...) and would I like to come to the surgery now to collect it, as I don't live far away.
I'd just got out the bath and was in my PJ's, so he made me an appnmt for Monday. Not just to pick up the script from reception ( which would be reasonable enough) but to see him in person too.
I have never known a GP like him, as committed and caring and ever willing to go the extra mile. A real diamond.
He deserves a medal of some sort in my book. :)

    Hey dont go in your PJs.. :D How lovely to have such a good relationship with your GP.

    Had similar today from Rheumy dept!
    Lovely to know some people still DO care.

    Perhaps the times are a changing :) x

    Ruby - had I gone in my PJ's ( my 7 year old grandaughter wouldn't even approve of the cute teddybear print :shock: ) it might have been more than the one prescription for me, LoL...

    There are "some" great GP's out there.... You just gotta find them... :lol:

    Puschinka, You are so blessed to have such a great relationship with your G.P, not many people have such great relationships. I myself are like you. My G.P & I have a weekly phone consultation with mine. :)
