Hello again,
I have had Amitripyline prescribed me in the past and have suffered from the most awful nightmares when I took itso I had to come off it. I was disappointed as I thought it would really help me.
I must admit just lately I tried Nytol one a night out of desparation, but it made me so feeling drunken and dizzy that it made me fall about when going to the toilet in the night(which I need to do frequently) and I have a big enough problem getting in and out of bed and off to the toilet as it is.

Hi Petal
I didnt get on well with amitriptyline so my GP prescribed me Nortriptylene
and im fine on these, i take 2 at night, they are not quite as strong,so the side effects are not as bad.

Poor petal
I am sorry they don't suit you and was going to say the same. there are other similar things you could try. I know at least one other on here who swears by nortrip.
Love
