Hi everyone..

I remember reading on a recent forum post somewhere....?? That there is an anti-depressant drug which can also help some symptoms of OA....?

Can anyone help with the name of this drug...please.

I am seeing my GP soon & think this will be the road I'll be travelling down next, but at the moment don't want to be "Labelled" as depressed, but think I will need something to help me...

Hope that makes sense...

thanks, freesia x

    Freesia

likely it's amitripyline you mean.....taken at much lower doses than the anti-depressant dose.

    Good luck

Hi I take Paroxotine and that doesn't help me with my OA and I didn't know that some anti depressant did. Good luck with that and I hope it works for you.

More than likely it's the Amitriptyline as others have said. However I also take fluoxetine which I was told today is Prozac :o
