livid.. esa stopped after 2nd esa medical ATOS!!

Sorry peeps I'm so livid today.. don't mean to be negative but I've had a gutsfull of the ATOS pricks :x !!!

I've been on ESA since march 2010, went to ESA appeal and won in april 2011 and then had a 2nd medical april 3rd and just had my letter today saying that I only scored 9 points and needed 15!

Called the DWP and they say I can appeal which I am, however my money that I was meant to be paid on thursday will not happen untill I go to my dr's get a sick note and fill in my appeal form and back date the date from the 24th of april when they decided it was cancelled, even tho its the 8th of may today... GRRRRR!!! :x

I hate all these hoops we have to jump through, i've gotten worse since the March 2010 and yet I still have to jump hurdles!!

ATOS form did make me laugh mind, they said I can hold and carry a box!! bare in mind I walk with two crutches and maybe they think I can balance the box on my nose or something..lol. !!

Sorry to rant just raging today !!

That is a long gap 24th Apr -8th May. Will they back pay you?

Im so sorry the stupid people see something other rational people can see - that you do need this ESA!!! I mean if you walk with 2 crutches im surprised you can even carry a handbag never mind a box....It just doesnt seem to make any sense and why are they delaying paying you whilst you appeal...I thought as soon as you registered the appeal it was reinstated at basic rate?
You are so entitled to your rant and I can only offer cyber hugs and cups of soothing tea..

Dear Tilly i am so sorry you are going through this, it is a disgrace .These people should not be allowed to do these jobs , Our doctors words or letters should be final , if we did not have these pc do gooders about we would not have these problems , I was speaking to my father and he said that an asian fella had 6 disabled cars and was renting them out , what is this country coming too and how do these peops get away with the things they do .Keep appealing , if you get another failure i'll come do and punch em on the nose .

makes u mad don't it.. apparently I have to fill in my appeal form first gl54 I think it is first and as I can't get to a jobcentre to get the form its being posted out to me!

Only received the letter today telling me that there to cancel my esa claim..grr! yet it was dated 24th of april!

And like you said there's a man with 6 disabled cars renting them out!!

it just annoying that I have to go through the esa tribunal appeal again, just hope I win this time too!

When i appealed I spoke to someone who filled the form GL24 on my behalf over the phone,Can this be done in your case? Or can someone go to jobcentre and get you one, save the waiting for it to come in the post...

Tilly what a shambles the system is and you are not alone in experincing the s**te that we have to go through to claim what we are entitled too..

I have been waiting for my appeal date for over a yr now and was told i have at least another 3 months of waitng which will have been 18 months.They have such a back log of complaints that they are finding it very difficult to get through..

Why dont they just abolish the system they have and come up with a better service that is going to help ppl with difficulties rather than stressing them out and making them fight for what is rightfully theres..

Grr dont get me started... lol i gonna shut up..

Hi tilly can I ask what group you would be in and if its income based as the gov have changed the rules for contributions work related group. I'm sure you have been told but you can only get it for a year now. I have lost my benefit money but still have to have medicals and go to the work interviews.
I have made an appel so see what happens. I hope your appel goes well and you get your money, this gov is so rubbish and penalises the ill. X

Dee, my friend has just had his ESA stopped after a yr, he gets a private pension and his partner is only on a crappy wage. I don't know if that has anything to do with it being stopped or if it is just stopped after a yr regardless :shock:
He is in the WRAG and now has to send sick notes in even though they've stopped his money...
If he was in the SUPPORT group they would not have stopped his money, he is appealing to be re-assesed as he should have been in the support group anyway. They are continuing his money while he appeals..

All a bloody farce....

This is such a shambles. If they were a High Street Business I am sure they would have gone under by now as their Managers do not appear that they would be able to organise the proverbial P.U. in a Brewery :x .

Tilly, I am really sorry to hear you are having such awful problems. I would urge you to contact your local MP and send him a full description of the problems you have had from the very beginning.

I did this after being ignored for 5 months. In fact I actually got Chris Grayling involved as well. The DWP HAVE to answer letters from MP's with 15 days.

I now have a really nice guy from DWP who is in a special department that handles stuff from the MPs etc. hes helping me with the reconsideration and has actually said that he is in support of my claim and is appalled at the problems I've had and how I've been treated.

Good luck with your Appeal. If you need any help just ask. My Internet has been a bit dodgy lately but I will try to pop on every day.

I bet those that are making false claims are getting through without problems, Why cant these D..kheads recognise genuine cases!!!!!, How are these people that are screwing the system getting through??? when genuine cases are having problems being able to keep/get ESA or DLA it makes me seethe.
As one of you just said, our GP or consultants word should be enough.

Hi Im sorry you and all of us are going through this at the moment.....i think until lots of us get jobs...and then damage ourselves further ...then take them to court for dereliction of duty of care...there has got to be test cases on this...it must be basically ilegal to say someone is fit to do physical excercise (work) when they are not.....and if they then go on to damage their health....mental or physical...they..ATOS or who-ever need to be made liable...there must be some legal eagle out there to help us!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even the stress of it is enough???

tell me bout it.. just had to get a crisis loan cause my esa has stopped!

She told me max I could get was £86.25p for 2wks then pay back £8.25 a wk back when I do or if i do get my esa back!

Tilly, please please contact your MP. Tell him the idiots have left you with nothing to live on. They have to try to help you. If you have no luck then email Chris Grayling, I was answered within an hour and have had every help I have needed since.
