Hi All
Sorry I've not been on the site very often lately as I've been very busy and relatively pain free ... well up and until Saturday that is.
On Saturday I went to watch the Rugby 7s in Glasgow and had a great time, however it was colder than I expected it to be which caught me out as I wore my new walking shoes rather than my hiking boots. I've been doing a lot of walking lately trying to get fit and loose a bit of weight, so the walk there was pretty easy and comfortable ... however, while at the games the cold got into my ankles which made walking home a bit of a chore and is still a chore to move around – mmm ... even sitting's not too comfortable. Of course it was a bank holiday weekend, wasn't it, and I didn't have any 30/500 cocos nor Trammies ... I'm now waiting on the doctor getting back to me with a telephone appointment. In the meantime, I've organised to go to the Rheumy Day Ward for injections, hopefully they can do both ankles on the same day, but it is a two week wait.
All this after being discharged by the Rheumy a month ago while "only" suffering relatively minor aches and pains in my hands and knees.
Aaaarrrrgggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!
Take care all

Hi Scozzie,
Sorry your having trouble with the bones just now and hope they do get on and do the jabs soon. they often do some good to varying degrees... sometimes they work really well and sometimes not as good but I have had a lot of them and all have done something even if its not as much as I would have liked.
Hey it might warm up soon eh?! Cris x0
