can not help much but do feel you should mention it at least if they know they will tell you if it is or not they think it is and if needs treatment val

Your consultant is the chap to tell about this Soraya, it could be the RA but there again it could not. I don't try getting up until I have done some stretching and bending exercises just to loosen things a little and on the really rough mornings it's co-cos first, followed by a litle lie-in until they take a sufficient edge away! Please let us know how you get on, yes? DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

    Hi Soraya

i am really sorry to hear this as i had this problem too .I went too hospital for back classes and it really did help , i have found now by losing a stone in weight it has helped an awlful lot , but must confess i do not do the exersizes as i get home from work very late .but in the mornings if you can manage to get to the edge of the bed on your side then with your hands raise yourself in to a sitting position this is very effective .Sorry i cannot help you anymore but at least you will not have to hang onto door handles or crawl to the bathroom as i was doing .

    kind regards
    karen.
