BONE DENSITY SCAN

Hi All,

Got a Bone Density Scan today! Im not nervous about it, just really hope everything ok, i don't need anything else wrong with me, i think ive got enough going on, LOL :)

Please keep your fingers crossed for me :)

    Hi Emma,
    nothing to the scan at all, just a large x-ray machine, you lie down on the bench and they prop your legs up so you are at right angles for the hips and away you go...
    At least that's how mine was done but it is donkeys years ago!!!!!!

    It's certainly one of the more pleasant hospital tests, I enjoyed mine. Good luck and I am sure all will be well. DD

    I know you have gone but good luck.
    I found that it was {as DD says} one of the more pleasant tests and I also found that she gave me a rough idea of the results there and then.

    good luck with the scan. i had it i have ostopoosis is that what you are having it for.

    Hope you where ok in the scanner, and fingers crossed for the results being positive ones so you can deal with all the stuff that's keeping you busy!!
