Well that didnt go as well as i expected.Saw the clinic nurse i have seen before not the one they had got me down for which was good really as we do know each other.Nothing unusual has shown up in blood tests which is good i surpose then she checked my joints on hands and feet ,she was shocked how quickly they seem to have worsened since i last saw her about 7 months ago off she goes to have a conflab with consultant ,so now they are talking about anti tnfs but i just fall short of the score you need to get, 4.4 and you need 5.1,i just didnt expect this not yet at least. The next thing we are doing is to increase the lef and they are going to arrange a ultra sound scan of hands and feet and have bloods done every two weeks. We came out the clinic in total shock just didnt expect this in the least, all this is difficult for my oh to understand ,since he had the stroke you have to keep telling him what is happening so he can try and remember as he has short term memory problems.I am just glad it was with a nurse i knew and not a total stranger,oh well thats life i surpose i will have to knuckle down and get on with it.Insert as many swear words as you like i think i said them all.Mig

I’m sorry about that, mig. I guess it’s always easiest to empathise with those who are in a similar position. I’ve been taking meth & hydroxy for years with good results and, if anyone suddenly told me out of the blue that I might need anti-tnfs, I’d be shocked too. I hope the increased lef does the trick and it’s good that they’re going to keep a close eye on you. Please keep us in the loop. (())
