Well everyone

I have been to the depths of the Blackcountry today

to meet Joanne at the Arthritis Awareness Week she has been hosting.

I have to say I am SO very proud of her. :D

She has done AMAZINGLY well!

A whole week of arthritis related information talks and demonstrations  .

I know that I for one could not have done it, but Joanne has.

I have done my best to copy this article from the local paper for you all to see (of course l have her permission to post this  )

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/515/suncatcherac.jpg/

Hope it works.

I have tried it myself. Seems you have to click on the magnifying glass.

Love

Toni xxx

Thanks Toni and well done Joanne you must have put loads of work into the organisation of such an event. I'm sure you'll raise awareness. (I had to click on a small blank rectangle in the middle towards the top of the page.)

(It's good to know what you look like too! Pleased to meet you Joanne :D )

Dear Joanne, it was wonderful that Toni came over to support you - you have done so well, no wonder you are tired but being tired and happy and elated is great, isn't it? You have been through some tough times and to turn around and start networking and bringing people together like you have done a couple of times is fantastic. You are one in a million and an example to us all.

I hope you can have a lie in tomorrow. :D

    Love

Hello ladies well Ive done it. I am shattered a i expected. I have just got out of bed from my rest.
Today although low in numbers went well. Everyone enjoyed it and it was quite informal. We all ate a buffet together there was enough for everyone a bit too much. I had no idea who would come. Kids like us the charity was popular and Moira gave a very moving account about her daughter who is now eighteen and is at university. There was a lot of questions asked and it started quite a discussion.
Margret Haynes did a slide presentation a told us all about arthritis care and talked about her husband Graham who has the disease which was very moving.
Sand well mind had informal chats with individuals and the charity learn t about arthritis from sitting in the talks.
Forty eight pounds was made from collecting tins. and selling pens. :D We have left a tin on the counter just in case we get more.
Thank you all for your support on line and it meant a lot to me Toni turning up to see me it was a real boost. love Joanne :D

Somewhat belated but none-the-less sincere congratulations from me too, Joanne. I was away at the weekend and seem to have missed this thread since I returned. You’ve done a great job. Well done!
